Fun, if outdated, read about the Northwest.
This is a pretty good book for light reading if you live in the area. Goes over plants, animals, and geology in a lively and interesting way without getting overly technical and dry. Reminiscent of a tour or cruise narration without all the myths and fairy tales they usually add.
